- On Friday - I had packed all of my stuff and dad was out taking care of some business. Joe stopped by a while ago and had some stuff for mom which i had to squeeze in my suitcase. Yeah like it wasn't full already. I was once again glanced at the clock and saw that it had been only 5 minutes since the last time i watched the time. How does the time pass by so slowly when you're waiting for something? Wendy's gonna call me on her lunch break and it should start in like 10 minutes if i remember right. I sat down and turned the tv on. Is anything on at 11 am? Well i counted the minutes and 7 minutes later i heard my phone ring. Nick: Hey Wendy: Wow, you were fast Nick: I wasn't waiting for you to call if that's what you're saying Wendy: Sure Nick: Okay, maybe i was.....is that a crime? Wendy: No Nick: Good Wendy: So when will you be home? Nick: The flight leaves at 1 and it takes 3 hours....the ride from the airport takes about 30 minutes so....i'll be home at like 5.30 Wendy: Okay, the game starts at 6 Nick: Yeah, i just have to drop all the stuff and then i'll be ready Wendy: Well then i'll be at your house at 5.45 Nick: Great Wendy: Oh and don't wear anything blue Nick: Why is that? Wendy: Well i suppose that because you're coming with us, you support Jack's team. The other team wears blue uniforms so....if you want to sit on the other side of the field, then you can wear blue. Nick: So no blue. Wendy: Good I heard some noices on the back ground and then Wendy's laugh ...
